Becoming a part of the Cora family in 2008 has been one of the most rewarding journeys of my life. As an immigrant who arrived in Canada alone at 22 years old, I was searching for a sense of belonging and purpose. I found that and so much more with Cora.
Starting as a server, I quickly embraced the values of hard work and excellent service that Cora stands for. Over time, I climbed the ladder to become a manager, and in 2012, I realized my dream of owning my first franchised location.
By 2019, I had the privilege of opening my second location, a milestone I could not have achieved without the unwavering support of the franchisor and the incredible Cora network.
Cora has been more than just a career for me; it’s become a second home and a true extension of my family. It has allowed me to build a life where I can nurture my love for food, people and the service industry while being present for my own family, especially my young children.
With the guidance and resources provided by the franchisor, I firmly believe that anyone with dedication and passion can achieve success within the Cora system. I am deeply grateful for the opportunities that Cora has given me.

I have been a franchisee with Cora Breakfast and Lunch for 20 years. This brand is very strong and hands-on. The Franchisor makes every effort to keep it that way with frequent visits from our Regional Coach and Head Office Employees as well as Video Calls and meetings. The creativity, flavors, and mechanics for the dishes and operations are all meticulously developed and implemented.
Head office is open and accessible from the top down. Technical POS and network operations are top notch. Training materials are always provided in a timely and efficient manner. Any concerns or disagreements are always dealt with in an open and honest fashion. I would strongly recommend this concept to someone interested in owning a restaurant.
